Mice in the House: They Aren’t All Bad

Mice in the House They Are Not All Bad Final 184x300 Mice in the House: They Aren’t All Bad
If you’re like most homeowners, you probably cringe at the idea of having mice in the house, which is understandable. But there are some mice that everyone loves!

Mickey Mouse

Mickey Mouse has been a household name for decades. His first appearance was in a black-and-white short film called Steamboat Willie in 1928. That makes him 85 years old! His significant other, Minnie Mouse, was introduced right around the same time. While Mickey has seen some major changes through the years – color animation, shading, and vocals – he remains just as loveable after all these years.

Mighty Mouse

This tiny superhero is best known for his bravery in protecting his mousy brothers from the cruelty of their feline enemies. Mighty Mouse hasn’t seen much action since the early 1990s, but with the discussion of a Mighty Mouse feature film, he could be taking center stage again very soon.

Chuck E. Cheese

Back in 1977, a new concept of family entertainment in a restaurant setting took the country by storm. A pizza parlor, animated entertainment, and arcade all in one? It was every child’s dream come true and today Chuck E. Cheese is as popular as ever! With his recently revamped image as a young mouse playing an electric guitar, his appeal to young audiences remain strong.

Bianca and Bernard from The Rescuers and The Rescuers Down Under

Released in 1977 and 1990, respectively, these popular animated films portray tiny mice from the Rescue Aid Society, an international mouse organization located in New York City, dedicated to aid children from around the world that are threatened by dangerous adults.  The message portrayed here is even the very small can accomplish great things.

Remy from Ratatouille

Actually Remy is a rat, but you would call for mice control if you had a rat infestation?  In Ratatouille, Remy is a young rat that grows up under a five-star French restaurant.  He is torn between his family’s expectations and his dream of becoming a renowned chef.  Remy is quick, smart, lovable, and ends up saving the day!

While you might enjoy having these mice in the house, a real mouse infestation is not fun!  For your pest control needs please contact HomeTeam Pest Defense at 855-855-4873 or visit us at www.pestdefense.com.  You can also follow us on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.
